Archive for March 2010

Recent technology has given us greater accessibility as most of you desire to share your faith with your friends, classmates, co-workers, and families – here and abroad. Creating your own blog, sort of a personal diary of your own Christian life, struggles and victories, that the Lord had sovereignly interfered to mold you into His Son’s likeness.

You can register and create your own blog site at – www.disipulo.org/youth by following these instructions…

1. First, you need to have an email address. Preferably, you can create from www.gmail.com. Take note of your access details for future reference. Your new email will appear like this – username@gmail.com.

2. Go to the above youth site, and click the “Register” on the right hand column. You will redirected to the Sign-up page.

3. Enter your preferred Username. Take note that the username you create will become your blog site url, e.g. www.disipulo.org/youth/username; therefore, choose your username carefully. Input your email address and then choose “Gimme a Site!” Finally, click the “Next” button.

4. The final signup page appears in which you can choose a different name for your blog URL. For my example, I entered basileia as my username and desired to also use it as my blog URL – www.disipulo.org/youth/basileia. Next enter the title of your blog, e.g. Growing in God’s Grace. Choose “Yes” if you like your blog to appear in search engine; or “No” if you don’t. I recommend that you DO NOT for security purposes. Click the “Signup” button for finish your registration.

Now, posting your first blog and tinkering with your admin panel comes in my next blog.
